Police Logs: Mansfield Man Charged with OUI After Crashing Vehicle into Bridge on West Street

4:02 a.m. – Michael C. Reade, 22, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of motor vehicle and marked lanes violation following a motor vehicle accident on West Street. Police reported both airbags were deployed but Reade suffered no injuries and declined medical attention. Police said Reade’s vehicle struck the concrete structure of the bridge on West Street but did not appear to cause any structural damage. Reade was given an OUI citation, marijuana citation and notice of his license suspension prior to his release on bail, according to police logs.
