The event featured an international soccer match – AC Milan vs. C.D. Olimpia of Honduras – at 4:30 p.m. followed by the New England Revolution vs. Sporting Kansas City.

Eight people were taken into custody – one arrested – out of a crowd of approximately 18,000, according to Foxborough Police.

Saturday, Aug. 4:

  • Caleb Geary, 27, of 414 High St., Pembroke was arrested outside Gillette Stadium and charged with disorderly conduct, malicious destruction of property over $250 and resisting arrest.
  • A 47-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y. man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 36-year-old Providence, R.I. man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 29-year-old Revere resident was taken into protective custody.
  • A 27-year-old Kennebunk, Maine man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 22-year-old Kennebunk, Maine man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 28-year-old Kennebunkport, Maine resident was taken into protective custody.
  • A 25-year-old Jamacia Plain man was taken into protective custody.
