Police Logs: Foxborough Man Arrested, Charged with Threatening to Commit Murder, Assault & Battery

Thursday, May 9:

10:49 a.m. – Jeffery A. Burt, 47, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of motor vehicle on Commercial Street near Walnut Street.

6:14 p.m. – Peter Walsh, 48, of Foxborough, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, straight warrant and no inspection sticker following a motor vehicle stop on East Street.

Friday, May 10:

7:25 p.m. – A 21-year-old Wakefield man was removed from Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill and taken into protective custody.

Sunday, May 12:

9:14 p.m. – Michael P. Copparini, 48, of Foxborough, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, intimidating a witness and threat to commit a crime – to wit murder following a domestic disturbance at his residence. A woman, said to be Copparini’s girlfriend, called police to report she was physically assaulted, according to police logs. Woman was reportedly “extremely distraught and declined medical attention,” according to police logs. Copparini was no longer at his residence when police arrived and Mansfield police notified Foxborough at 10:34 p.m. it had Copparini in custody. Mansfield transported Copparini to Foxborough’s police station for booking.
