Police Log: Witness Intimidation, OUI, and More

Jan. 22

2:53 p.m. - During a follow up of an investigation, Michael Silva, 31, of New Bedford was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and witness intimidation.

8:03 p.m. - After receiving a call from a person that her and a friend were assaulted by two males, police were able to find the vehicle with one of males near Route 1 and Thurston Street. After police stopped the car, David Fairbanks, 48, of Wrentham was arrested and charged with simple domestic assault and battery.

Jan. 25

8:23 p.m. - Police received a report of a white vehicle with front-end damage trying to drive down the road towards Cocasset Street. When the car was pulled over near Cocasset Street and Chestnut Street, it was discovered that the damage was acquired after the car hit rocks on Winter Street.

Police then arrested and charged Diane Gulzinski, 53, of Foxboro with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation.
