Police Log: Foxboro Man Arrested After Crashing into Motel and More

July 27

12:53 a.m. - After allegedly crashing his vehicle into the back of the Gaard Motel on Route 1, police arrested and charged John Broadway, 22 of Foxborough with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, wanton destruction of property over $250, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and disorderly conduct.

According to Foxborough police chief Ed O'Leary, Broadway was picked up by Immigration and Custom Enforcement after police were informed that the federal agency had a detainer on him.

2:12 a.m. - After stopping a vehicle on North Street, police arrested and charged Gregory Giampietro, 24, of Walpole with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a marked lanes violations.

After getting pulled over on Washington Street, Annemarie McCarthy, 28, of Canton was arrested and charged with her second OUI liquor offense, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, and speeding.

Bail was set at $1,040.
