Police Log: Erratic Operator, Custodies From Patriots-Broncos, and More

The following is from the Foxboro Police Department. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

Nov. 20

10:16 a.m. - Bryant Lane, 25, of Foxboro was arrested on a straight warrant.

11:43 - After making a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street, police arrested Chester Ross, 54, of Attleboro on two default warrants.

8:05 p.m. - Responding to a report of an erratic operator on Main Street heading towards Route 140 South, police attempted to pull over the car but the car refused to stop until it was over the Mansfield line. Once out of the car near CVS on Route 106, the driver was given a breathalyzer test that showed a BAC of 0.99.

Police then arrested and charged Krista Sousa, 39, of Mansfield with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop for police.

Nov. 23 

7:39 p.m. - While working a detail at Bar Louie, police arrested and charged John Kalil, 24, of Franklin with failure to register as a sex offender.

Patriots vs. Broncos

The Sunday night showdown brought 64,800 people to Foxboro and resulted in 29 protective custodies and four arrests. Below is a summary of police activity during the game:

  • A 35-year-old male from Greenfield was taken into protective custody.
  • A 52-year-old male from Portsmouth, RI was taken into protective custody.
  • A 33-year-old male from Whitman was taken into protective custody.
  • A 42-year-old male from Roslindale was taken into protective custody.
  • A 19-year-old from Pepperal was taken into protective custody.
  • A 26-year-old male from Middletown, CT was taken into protective custody.
  • A 33-year-old male from Sharon was taken into protective custody.
  • William Sanders, 31, of Holland was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and trespassing.
  • A 25-year-old female from Norwood was taken into protective custody.
  • A 25-year-old male from Boston was taken into protective custody.
  • A 24-year-old male from from Cambridge was taken into protective custody.
  • A 51-year-old male from Albuquerque, NM was taken into protective custody.
  • A 48-year-old male from Lincoln, RI was taken into protective custody.
  • A 45-year-old female from Lincoln, RI was taken into protective custody.
  • A 24-year-old male from Medford was taken into protective custody.
  • A 25-year-old female from Lowell was taken into protective custody.
  • Ryan Gensel,  24, from Foster, RI, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
  • A 26-year-old male from Peabody was taken into protective custody.
  • Asa Leausa, 24, of Salem, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • A 19-year-old male from Chepchet, RI was taken into protective custody.
  • A 26-year-old male from Weymouth was taken into protective custody.
  • A 50-year-old male from Watertown was taken into protective custody.
  • A 45-year-old male from Danvers was taken into protective custody.
  • A 47-year-old male from Waterford, CT was taken into protective custody.
  • A 24-year-old male from Kingston was taken into protective custody.
  • Elijah Shorter, 18, of Arlington was arrested and charged with trespassing, vandalizing property, and false/misuse of a liquor ID card/license.
  • A 23-year-old male from Wakefield was taken into protective custody.
  • A minor was taken into protective custody.
  • A 26-year old male from Laurel, MD was taken into protective custody.
  • A 43-year-old male from Levittown, NY was taken into protective custody.
  • A 30-year-old male from Poland, ME was taken into protective custody.
  • A 32-year-old male from Grafton was taken into protective custody.
  • A 49-year-old male from Kingston, NH was taken into protective custody.
