Police Log: Car Crash in the Drive Thru Leads to OUI Arrest and More

Oct. 8

4:29 p.m. - After making a stop on Bass Pro Drive and Washington Street, police arrested and charged Manuel Antonio Perez Jr, 27, of Pawtucket, RI with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

9:30 p.m. - A 22 year old male from New Hudson at Bar Louie was placed in protective custody.

10:20 p.m. - After receiving a report of a car accident in the drive thru area of the McDonald’s on Route 1, patrolman Patrick Hoffman and patrolman David Foscaldo responded. While one vehicle left, the other vehicle remained at the restaurant with a possibly intoxicated driver.

When police arrived and issued a PBT reading to the operator, the person blew a .188. Police then arrested and charged Charles Jones III, 27, of Franklin with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and having an uninsured motor vehicle.
