Police Investigate Armed Robbery of Jewelry Store

Foxborough Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurredJune 18 around 10:41 a.m. Crown Jewelers on the corner of Route 1 and North Street, said police. The suspect pulled a gun, and an employee was sprayed with pepper spray. 

The single suspect is described as a black male, approx. 5'11" tall, 200 lbs., with a stocky build. The suspect was wearing a North Face style jacket (blue and gray), jeans, and a dark baseball style hat.

The man left on foot, and it is unclear which direction he ran, leaving with an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry. 

A maroon, newer-model minivan was seen in the area by a witness at the time of the incident.
