Police Arrest Pair of Rhode Island Robbery Suspects Spotted at Rte. 1 Hotel in Foxborough

Two suspects in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Providence, R.I. Monday were arrested by Foxborough Police at America's Best Value Inn Monday night.

Foxborough police arrested two suspects in a Rhode Island robbery case Monday night at a local hotel after receiving information from the Providence Police Department, according to police logs.

Kevin P. Cunningham, 27, of Norwood and William Bryce Donovan, 19, of Hingham were arrested at America’s Best Value Inn at 105 Washington St. in Foxborough at 8:49 p.m. and charged with the following:

  • Cunningham - Three default warrants; receiving stolen property over $250; grave marker removal
  • Donovan - Receiving stolen property over $250; grave marker removal

Foxborough police reported on its Facebook page the suspects were wanted for armed robbery of a convenience store in Providence, R.I. early Monday morning and were taken into custody without incident.

“The suspects appeared for arraignment at the Wrentham District Court on Tuesday,” according to Foxborough police. “They are currently being held pending extradition to Rhode Island.”
