A serious accident on Commercial Street and Central Street Thursday afternoon has sent two people to the hospital.
At approximately 4:29 p.m., a 30-year old male on a motorcycle crashed into a car at the intersection, going through the windshield and injuring himself and the driver.
The man on the motorcycle was taken to Rhode Island hospital with serious injuries including multiple fractures and a strong indication of head injuries according to Foxborough fire.

The driver of the car, a man in his mid-20s, was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with facial injuries.
Rescue crews from Foxborough and Sharon were on the scene for about a half hour. The accident did cause a traffic to backup to the center of town and down Route 140 southbound.
