Man in Protective Custody Punches Cell Doors; Norwood Man Faces 6 Charges Following Car Stop

Wednesday, April 24:

4:54 p.m. – Stephen Kirby, 49, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with revoked license, number plate violation to conceal ID, no inspection/sticker, unregistered motor vehicle and registration sticker missing following a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Road.

5:42 p.m. – Lionel Wertz, 51, of Taunton, was arrested and charged with operating motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Commercial Street.

Friday, April 26:

9:30 p.m. – A 26-year-old Bellingham man was taken into protective custody following an incident at Bar Louie.

11:05 p.m. – Carolanne P. Barche, 25, of Bellingham was served a default warrant at the Comfort Inn on Fisher Street.

11:39 p.m. – Michael B. Carey, 22, of Attleboro, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license following a motor vehicle stop on Central Street.

Saturday, April 27:

9:59 p.m. – Police reported a 29-year-old Bridgewater man taken into protective custody from the New England Revolution game at Gillette Stadium was “hitting the cell doors and cut his knuckles” as he was leaving the police station.
