Foxborough’s Glenn Saltis Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charges, Held Without Bail

A Foxborough man in police custody will continue to be held without bail after a ruling from a Norfolk County judge.

Glenn Saltis pleaded not guilty yesterday during an arraignment hearing at Norfolk County Superior Court in Dedham. He was charged with six charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to maim, assault and battery, and aggravated assault and battery.

Saltis is accused of attacking and injuring his ex-wife on Memorial Day at the couple's home they once shared. The Norfolk County District Attorney’s office at the time described the injuries suffered by his ex-wife as “life-threatening.”

Police found Saltis during the investigation in the Neponset River and was originally arraigned on the charges from his hospital bed at Norwood Hospital on May 28.

On June 4, a Wrentham District Court judge ruled that Saltis was a dangerous person that should be held without bail.

Saltis is due back in court for a dangerousness hearing on July 26.
