Foxborough Selectmen Honor Norfolk Sheriff's Deputy Who Died Tuesday Morning

The Foxborough Board of Selectmen held a moment of silence for Norfolk County Sheriff Deputy Ryan Tvelia, who died Tuesday from injures suffered in crash Tuesday morning.

 

Before Tuesday night's Foxborough Board of Selectmen's meeting, there was a moment of silence for Norfolk County Sheriff Deputy Ryan Tvelia, 42, of Plainville who was died after a crash on Interstate 95 northbound, near exit 11 in Walpole in the morning.

Tveila was in full uniform on his way to a funeral for a fellow officer's mother when his motorcycle hit a car in front of him, driven Lynn Falke, 54, of Attleboro. He was then sent left line where he was struck by a car driven by Kevin Colwell, 25, of Foxborough. according to a report on myfoxboston.com.

Tveila was taken to Norwood Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Selectman chairman Larry Harrington pointed out the Tveila had done work in Foxborough in the past.
