Foxborough Police Identify Man Killed in Sunday's Motorcycle Crash

Foxborough Police released the names of the man killed and his female passenger - who remains in critical condition Monday - from Sunday's motor vehicle accident.

The man killed in Sunday's motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Central and Leonard Streets has been identified as 62-year-old George Wentworth of Wareham, according to Foxborough Police. 

Wentworth's wife, Gail, 61 was the passenger on George's 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle when it was struck by a 2001 Chevrolet van allegedly operated by 24-year-old Foxborough resident Adam Cobb at the intersection of Central and Leonard Streets. Gail Wentworth was airlifted to Mass General Sunday evening and remains in critical condition Monday, according to Foxborough Police. 

Cobb, who was arrested Sunday for his alleged role in the fatal accident that occurred at approximately 4:16 p.m. Sunday, was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday and is being held on $5,000 cash bail, according to Foxborough Police. Cobb was charged with with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield to oncoming traffic, according to a press release issued by Foxborough Police Sunday night.
