Foxborough Police Department Receives $5K Grant for Underage Alcohol Enforcement

Funding is part of the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security's Highway Safety Division's Underage Alcohol Enforcement grant program.

The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) recently awarded Foxborough’s Police Department $5,000 in funding as part of the Commonwealth’s Strategy for Underage Alcohol Enforcement, according to Foxborough Police Chief Edward O’Leary.

“The grant was applied for by Sergeant Richard Noonan, who has managed both the grant and the activities the department has undertaken to reduce the risk of underage drinkers in our community,” O’Leary said in a letter to selectmen.

The board unanimously accepted the grant Tuesday.
