Earlier this afternoon, Foxborough Fire responded to a brush fire on Blueberry Island in the Neponset Reservoir.
The fire, pushed around by high winds. required crews to be transported to the island by boats owned by local residents according to the Sun Chronicle.
Crews from Mansfield, Wrentham, and Sharon were called in to assist with the fire.
By 6:15 p.m., the final wetdown was finished with a return to the area tomorrow possible.
There were no injuries reported and no structures are on the island.
