Foxboro Police Investigate Late Night Brawl and Stabbing

A party that went too long and had too many people is the topic of a new investigation by the Foxboro Police Department.

According to police chief Ed O'Leary, officers received a call from a Windsor Drive homeowner early Sunday morning, asking for help with getting some guests to leave his house. The person was hosting a party and was having a hard time getting people to leave.

When police arrived, many of those who attended the party had left but those who remained were told to leave by police.  At the same time, a neighbor called police to report a strange banging sound she heard that she believed could have been gun shots.

While police could not find any evidence of gun shots, detectives did find a cell phone when checking the area for evidence. While performing the search, a male from Norwood returned to the scene to look for the phone that was his.

The man told police on the scene that the cell phone they found was his and that he was involved in a fight after the party. When he returned to his car, he discovered was stabbed during the altercation. He was treated at Norwood Hospital.

According to O'Leary no arrests or charges have been filed as a result of the party or the fights that took place.
