Foxboro Police Arrest Franklin Man on OUI and Firearm Charges

A Franklin man has been arraigned in Wrentham Distrcit Court after being arrested on multiple charges.

On Monday night, Foxboro police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street Monday evening.

According to police, the person reporting the accident reported that their vehicle was struck by the same vehicle multiple times while driving.

After an investigation that led to the discovery of a firearm in his vehicle, police arrested Peter Bell, 49, of Franklin.

Bell was charged with his second OUI liquor offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a license, improper storage of a firearm, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, following a motor vehicle too closely, driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
