Firefighters Knock Down 2-Alarm Fire at Patriot Place Saturday Night

No injuries reported in two-alarm fire at Bass Pro Shops in Patriot Place Saturday night.

No injuries were reported following a two-alarm fire at – located in Foxborough – Saturday night, which required mutual aid from multiple towns to knock down.

was unavailable for comment Saturday night after the fire was reportedly knocked down by firefighters from Foxborough and surrounding towns. A Foxborough Fire Department dispatcher said he was not able to release any information from the incident and more information would be available Sunday morning when fire personnel returned to the station.

The fire, according to an article in The Sun Chronicle, broke out at approximately 8:45 p.m. and was knocked down at 10:15 p.m. The store was open at the time of the fire, forcing customers and over 20 employees to evacuate into the store’s parking lot. No injuries were reported.

Foxborough Fire, according to WPRI.com Eyewitness News, said the fire “was an outside exterior wall fire, which caused minor damage to the building.”

Christina Freiberger (@freimyberger) tweeted: “Fire at Bass Pro Shops Patriot Place. #Walpole FD responding to help out."

Ben Skerker (@bskerker23) tweeted: “Possible structure fire at Patriot Place at Bass Pro Shop called in by the security at the back near the boats.”

Foxborough Fire received mutual aid from Norwood, Sharon, Mansfield, Walpole and Plainville fire departments.

It was unknown Saturday night if Bass Pro Shops would open Sunday morning at 10 a.m. for business.
