Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire on North High Street in Foxborough before 2 a.m. on Friday, RIBNS reports. No injuries were reported. There is extensive damage to the second floor and roof of the home. The fire was put out by 3:00am.
The blaze could be seen coming from the roof of the single-family home at 64 North High Street in Foxborough. Firefighters said it began on the front porch of the home. The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time; crews are still investigating. National Grid was also brought to the scene.
The cape-style home on High Street, recently put up for sale, was built in 1900 and is approximately 1,617 square feet.
Crews from Plainville, Sharon, Walpole, Wrentham, Norfolk, and Mansfield all responded to the two-alarm blaze.
