Arrest Made in Foxboro Breaking and Entering Case

A Fall River man connected to a residential breaking and entering in September is now facing numerous charges.

Benjamin Clay, 45, of Fall River was arrested at his home on Friday with an arrest warrant executed by Foxborough Detective Patrick Morrison, Westwood Detective Derrick Stokes, and Wellesley Detective Bob Gallagher with officers from the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime Task Force [NORPAC], and the Fall River Police Department.

Clay is being charged with breaking and entering in the daytime, larceny over $250, and with being a common and notorious thief.

According to Foxboro Police, the identity of Clay and the rest came after a joint investigation between detectives from Foxboro, Westwood, and Wellesley.

A search warrant for Clay's home also led to the discovery of additional items believed to be stolen.

Clay is accused of dressing up as a construction worker and entering houses. He is believed to be responsible for similar crimes in the area.
