Alfonzo Dennard Pleads No Contest in DUI Case

New England Patiriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard is done in court for now after pleading no contest on Friday to refusing a chemical test in a Lancaster County Court in Lincoln, Neb. In addition, a judge dismissed his suspicion of DUI charge.

As part of his plea deal, Dennard received a concurrent probation term, had his license suspended for 60 days and was ordered to pay a $500 fine according to the Boston Herald.

In July, Dennard was arrested on suspicion of a DUI and refusing to take a chemical test after a Nebraska pulled his car over when his vehicle started to sway out of his lane.

On the previous day, Dennard was sentenced to three years probation with 200 hours of community service and a 60-day suspended jail sentence for violating his probation from when he was found guilty of assaulting a police officer.

Foxboro Police Chief Ed O'Leary tells the Herald that 65 hours of community service have already been served.
