Update - At 4:50 p.m. the Massachusetts State Police announced that the area around exit 7 was all clear. All lanes are open and no injuries were reported.

Traffic stretching up to Exit 9 due to an accident on Route 95 South near Exit 7 should be expected.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. a tractor trailer crashing into the guardrail has forced the closure of the left lane according to the Massachusetts State Police.
Delays on the southbound portion of the highway should be expected according to police.
