2 Men Arrested for Stealing Clothes from Donation Bins in Foxborough

Alert resident dialed 911 after seeing two men allegedly taking items out of town clothing donation bins.

Two Brockton men were arrested last Thursday after allegedly breaking into and removing items from the clothing donation bins behind Saint Mary’s Church on Carpenter Street.

Jose Teixeira, 41, and Domingos Depina, 54, both of Brockton, were arrested and each charged with breaking into a depository and larceny over $250 following the incident, according to Foxborough Police.

Police said they received a 911 call just before 9 p.m. Thursday from a “vigilant citizen” who observed the two men in a blue van taking items out of the clothing donation bins behind Saint Mary’s Church.

“The witness was able to provide police with a description of the suspect vehicle, registration and direction of travel,” police said via its Facebook page.

Foxborough police Sgt. John Chamberlin, with the assistance of the Sharon Police Department, located the suspect’s vehicle in Sharon and arrested the two men.
