Last week we and 27 of you responded.
Now that we’ve gathered the information submitted by you, we are taking the top five answers and asking readers to come to a consensus by voting in the poll below. Then on Aug. 15, we will close the poll and discuss the information we’ve gathered with Foxborough Police Chief Edward O’Leary and publish a story related to speeding in Foxborough.
Of the information gathered from readers last week, the majority said Oak Street and Baker Street are where drivers speed the most in Foxborough.
“Without a doubt Oak Street,” said Foxborough Patch reader Sue M. “People have been hit trying to get in their driveways. They go faster as they round the bend towards Oakwud Street. Something needs to be done.”
Said Heidi Laughlin Manthei: “Definitely Oak Street. People are in such a rush they pass me before I can turn all the way into my driveway.”
Said Kristian Smith Edgar: “Baker Street has become a cut through to avoid the lights by Dunkin’ Donuts and DQ ... People fly down the street including the police, it is very scary.”
North Street and Beach Street came in at number two and South Grove and Cocasset Street came in tied at number three.
So Foxborough, we want to know …
This week’s poll question: Which street listed below do drivers speed the most on?
