Obituary: WWII Veteran Frank Bagley Sr. was a Foxborough Scout Master; Worked for Foxboro Company

Frank Bagley Sr. passed away on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the age of 92. He was a loving Husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His obituary is courtesy of Roberts & Sons Funeral Home.

Frank W. Bagley, Sr., age 92, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at Norwood Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Bernard L. and Mary J. (Smith) Bagley.

Frank was born on Aug. 24, 1920 in Bedford. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He married his wife Joann (Lillyman) in 1949 at St. Mary’s Church, Foxborough. He has been a resident of Sharon since 1962.

Frank was a retired engineer for the Foxboro Company. After retiring he worked as a driver for Napa Auto Parts in Foxborough. A music enthusiast, Frank was a member of the Barbershoppers of Norwood. He was a former Scout Master in Foxborough and a remote control plane enthusiast. He was a devoted and loving husband, father grandfather and great grandfather.

Beloved husband of Joann Bagley. Loving father of Frank, Jr. and his wife Rose Bagley of Newport News, VA and Ann-Marie Bagley and her husband Daniel Barber of Wareham. Devoted grandfather of Susanna and Frank W. Bagley, III and great grandfather of Sophia Passaro and Kiara Bagley. Brother of Louise Murphy of NY, Marie Bagley of Norwood, Agnes Marchetti of CA and the late Mark, John, Joseph and James Bagley.
