Obituary: Rose-Marie Elise Turenne

Rose-Marie Elise (Poirier) Turenne, age 67, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Agnes (Sweeney) Poirier.

Rose-Marie was born on Aug. 5, 1945 in Norwood. She was a graduate of Sharon High School, Class of 1963. She and her husband Robert were married on December 30, 1967 in Sharon. Prior to her marriage she sang professionally in Boston and throughout New England. She and her husband owned-operated New England Packaging. Rose-Marie was a member of St. Mary’s Guild and St. Mary’s Choir of Foxborough and St. Mary’s Church in Onset.

Beloved wife of Robert T. Turenne, loving mother of Michelle and her husband John Gray of Milford, Robert and his wife Hope Turenne of Seekonk and Thomas and his wife Elizabeth Turenne of Westport. Devoted grandmother of Katie and Patrick Gray, Joey and Ella Turenne and Caroline and Lauren Turenne. Sister of Elaine Ryan of Norton and Arthur Poirier of Foxborough. Loving daughter in law of Rita Turenne of Central Falls. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
