Obituary: Remembering Foxborough Resident and Nurse Dorothy Sullivan

Dorothy Jean Sullivan, 59, passed away on Dec. 23, 2012 at her home. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend to many. Her obituary is courtesy of Roberts & Sons Funeral Home.

Dorothy (Dot) Jean Sullivan, age 59, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Mae (Canfield) McMahon.

Dot was born on June 12, 1953 in Bristol, Conn. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Hartford, Conn. and UMass Boston. She was employed as a nurse and x-ray technical for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Quincy. She was formerly employed at Carney Hospital, Boston City hospital and several other area medical facilities. Dot enjoyed crafts and loved going to yard sales. She loved her dog Bailey, a good bargain and a good game of Bunco. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Beloved wife of Daniel J. Sullivan of Foxborough. Loving mother of Daniel P. Sullivan of North Attleboro, Laura J. Sullivan of Quincy, Maureen L. Sullivan of Foxborough and Matthew J. Sullivan of Foxborough. Devoted sister of Barbara Gates of Connecticut, Mary Gediman of Virginia and Elizabeth McMahon of Connecticut.
