Obituary: Remembering Former Teacher and Lifelong Foxborough Resident Shirley B. De Lisle

Shirley B. De Lisle, 79, passed away on Nov. 14. She was a lifelong Foxborough resident, beloved mother and grandmother. Her obituary is courtesy of Roberts & Sons Funeral Home.

Shirley B. De Lisle, age 79, died on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at the Harrington House in Walpole surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Pearl (Usher) and George Dundas and his wife Abbie Dundas.

Shirley was born in Milford on April 20, 1933. She was a lifelong Foxborough resident and a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1951. She graduated in 1955 with a teacher’s degree from Bridgewater State College.

Shirley worked for many years as an elementary school teacher in Foxborough. She was a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Boyden Library in Foxborough. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was most happy when spending time with her family and friends.

Beloved mother of Andrea Fallows of Foxborough, Craig De Lisle of Shrewsbury, Eric De Lisle of Foxborough and the late Jeffrey De Lisle. Loving grandmother of Ryan Fallows, Tyler De Lisle, Kimberly Fallows and Veronica De Lisle and great grandmother of James Fallows. Sister of Dr. Richard Dundas and his wife Bonnie of Bennington, Vt.
