Obituary: Paula Louise Garbarino

Foxborough-Paula Louise (Aries) Garbarino, age 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood. She was the daughter of the late Emilio and Adele (Civini) Aries.

Paula was born in Boston on December 24, 1917 and was a graduate of Boston Girls High School. She and her husband Charles were married on June 25, 1941 at St. Paul’s Church in Dorchester. She was a resident of Walpole for eleven years and was a former longtime resident of Westwood.

Paula at one time lived in London and was a member of the American Women’s Club while there. She loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. She loved to be with people and had many wonderful friends.

Wife of the late Charles L. Garbarino. Beloved mother of Charles Garbarino and his wife Elaine of Foxborough. Loving grandmother of Janet Headd and her husband Tim of Foxborough and Paul Garbarino of South Attleboro. Devoted Great grandmother of Allison and Jessica Headd and Kaleb Garbarino. Brother of Lillian Amodeo of Braintree and the late Alma Young of West Roxbury.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday from 1-5 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter St., Foxborough. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery.
