Michael J. Danesco, Jr. Dies at 69; Army Veteran and 38-Year Resident of Foxborough

Danesco passed away on Wednesday, May 1st at Norwood Hospital.

Michael John Danesco, Jr., 69, passed away on Wednesday, May 1st at Norwood Hospital, surrounded by loving family. He was the son of the late Michael John Danesco, Sr. and Madeline (Marks) Danesco.

Michael was born in Jamaica Plain on Dec. 17th, 1943. He was a graduate of Boston Latin School and Boston College. Following college, he served in the United States Army for two years and then as a reservist. He worked for The Social Security Administration for twenty three years, retiring as an Operations Manager in 1995.

Michael was the husband of Lenore L. (Beane) Danesco who he married in 1972. They resided in Foxborough for 38 years.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Alex Danesco and his wife, Amy, of Norwood, Beth Danesco of Dodge City, Kansas, and Rebecca Jackson and her husband Dereck, of South Holland, Il., as well as his grandchildren, Sarah and Benjamin Jackson and Alexi, Jacob and Ryan Danesco.

He was the brother of Barbara (Danesco) D'Amato of Coventry, R.I. and is predeceased by his brothers Joseph Danesco and Robert McCarthy and niece Camie D'Amato. He also leaves beloved nieces, nephews, friends - and hundreds of corny jokes.
