Gary Attwood Richards

Gary Attwood Richards, age 67, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the son of the late John and Barbara (Attwood) Richards.

Mr. Richards was born in Norwood on Oct. 20, 1944. He was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1963. He married his wife Susan Marie (Littlefield) at St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough on April 23, 1966. He has been a North Attleboro resident for the last 40 years.

He was a production manager and photographer for Rea-Craft Press, Inc. in Foxborough for more than 50 years.

He was an avid golfer and loved to play cards. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed watching his favorite TV programs. He also enjoyed his annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach and especially loved spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Susan M. (Littlefield) Richards. Loving father of Christopher Scott Richards of North Attleboro, Colleen Marie Ferreira and her husband Kevin of North Smithfield, RI and Gary Martin Richards and his wife Susan of Plymouth. Brother of Bruce Richards of Wrentham, John Richards of Foxborough and the late Patricia Dugan. Devoted grandfather of Brittany and Kara Ferreira and Zachary, Jacob, Jamie and Erin Richards.

Funeral arrangement were made by Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30, South Street, Foxborough. There was a Funeral mass, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
