Foxboro Cable Access Volunteer Richard K. Fischer Dies at 80; Calling Hours Friday

Richard K. Fischer leaves family in Foxborough and Germany.

Richard K. Fischer, 80, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of Richard and Klara Fischer.

Richard was born on July 25, 1932 in Tuebingen, Germany. He was educated in engineering trade schools in Germany. He married his wife Rosanne on Feb. 19, 2005 at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Foxborough. He was employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for over 20 years as a mechanical engineer. Richard enjoyed gardening, volunteering for Foxborough Cable. He was a member of the German Club in Walpole and enjoyed traveling to Germany with his wife.

Loving husband of Rosanne Theresa (DiPasquale) Crowley. Devoted father of Burnd and his wife Lauren Fischer of Norton, Richard and his wife Caroline Fischer of TX, Elke Fischer of Foxborough, Renee Fischer Tuminelli of Virginia and stepfather of James Crowley of South Carolina. Beloved grandfather of six. Brother of Klaus Fischer of Germany.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 214 Main St., Foxborough. For additional information please contact (508) 543-5471.
