Dorothy G. Iavarone Dies at 85; Lived in Foxborough for Over 57 Years

Iavarone enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and baking for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Dorothy G. (Bolton) Iavarone, 85, died on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at her home in Foxborough surrounded by the comfort of her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Narcissus (Lambert) Bolton.

Dorothy was born in New York City on Dec. 19, 1927 and was educated in New York Schools. She and her husband Frank were married at St. Thomas’s Church in New York City on Sept. 22, 1947. She has been a resident of Foxborough for over 57 years.

Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and baking for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Beloved wife of the late Francesco “Frank” Iavarone. Loving mother of Maria Quinn and her husband Jack of Foxborough, Jerry Iavarone and his wife Lynn of Palm Bay, Fla. and the late Gloria Hagopian and Frank Iavarone. Devoted grandmother of Jarrod, David, Celene Frank, Alan, Shashanna, John and Gina. Sister of Joan Lindstrom and William and James Bolton.
