Talk about a hidden gem, first time I explored this park I thought I was out in the woods of NH. Talk about beautiful, and so clean! I understand they have birthday partys for local people - you don't even have to be camping there (way better than Chuckie Cheese!), a nice little gift shop but there's also tons to do there. After driving thru my kids begged me to make a reservation and they loved it. Didn't have to leave the campgrounds for anything, they were so entertained they nearly passed out from exhaustion at night. Even tho we didn't have to leave, knowing home was less than 5 miles away made it comforting to know if there was something we forgot and an emergency. If you haven't been there, stop in and check it out. Also, across the street you can buy xmas trees, that was a win-win !
