Foxborough Founders Day to Celebrate Town's Schools

The following is the schedule for Saturday's Foxborough Founders Day.

 

The theme of the 2012 Foxborough Founders Day will be "Foxborough Schools Past and Present." The event will be all day Saturday, June 9, throughout the day.

7 –9:30 a.m.
Pancake Breakfast at American Legion Hall on Mechanic St. Tickets are available at the door.

7 –9 a.m.
Booth Field Exhibit Set-up

8 – 9:30 a.m.
Parade assembles at 132 Central St.

10 a.m.
Parade starts at 132 Central St., toward Common, to Mechanic St., Railroad Ave., Bird St. around the Common to South St., ending at the Booth Playground.

11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Activities at Booth Playground. Non-profit organizations provide food, games, raffles, crafts and other activities on the field Fire Dept Touch a Truck and SO MUCH MORE! Multi-class FHS Reunion at the Reunion Tent

Noon– 4 p.m.
Live Music on Stage by “The Crisis” Featuring Ken Appel

Noon–1 p.m.
Registration for Doll Carriage Parade

12:30 – 1 p.m.
Foxborough Fire Department Smoke House Demo and House Fire Demonstrations

1 p.m.
Doll Carriage Parade in the Hyland Rink — Note: In case of inclement weather the Doll Carriage Parade will be moved indoors to the American Legion Hall on Mechanic St.

2 p.m.
Cow Chip Bingo

3-5 p.m.
Foxboro Cable Access open house! 28 Central St. Light Refreshments will be served.

7–8:00 p.m.
Henry the Juggler (near the Stage)

7 –9 p.m.
Live Music from “THE GALLEY DAWGS”

8:00 – 8:15 p.m.
Raffle Drawings – Winners announced

9:00 – 9:30  p.m.
Fireworks
