Five Things You Need to Know: May 5 and May 6

The Foxborough tennis teams are holding a car wash fundraiser Saturday at town hall.

 

1. Is your car needs a good cleaning? The Foxborough High tennis teams will be washing cars at the town hall from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday as a fundraiser.

2. The Foxborough Department of Public Works will be holding their annual Household Waste Day Collection at the highway garage, 70 Elm St., from 9 a.m. to noon. You must have proof you live in Foxborough.

3. No Foxboro Casino is holding an open house at Union Church, 384 South St., from 9 a.m. to noon. The video "Preserving the Character of Foxboro" will be shown at noon, 1 and 2 p.m.

4. Remember the voting polls open up for the town election at the Ahern Middle School, Monday, May 7, at 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

5. The Rock-N-Dock Festival is being held Saturday and Sunday at Patriot Place. The festival features the Dock Dogs in a canine aquatics competition. Saturday, it is from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Children's Hospital Boston Down Syndrome Programs.
