Calling All Parents of Youth Athletes!

Joe Breen addresses the most common questions and issues facing parents as they raise their children in what has become the competitive world of youth athletics.

I wanted to take the opportunity to inform Patch's viewers of what exactly I'll be blogging about.  In my years of coaching players from ages 5-22, beginners to collegiate and professional athletes, I have had the chance to create and build relationships with not only the players themselves, but their parents and families.  While I do consider it a perk of the job, I find myself answering TONS of questions from the parents like "should we do this or this", "how much of this is too much", etc.  I love that the players and parents value my opinion enough to ask the questions so I do feel a sense of responsibility when it comes to assisting in the management of these player's athletic careers.

This blog looks to address the most common questions and issues facing parents as they raise their children in what has become the very competitive world of youth athletics.  If you have a question or issue you would like addressed, please email me at jbreen@rbiacademy.com.  I look forward to hearing from you all!
