To celebrate the Fourth of July, Patriot Place hosted fireworks for the second year in a row. The 20 minute display featured a special soundtrack that could be heard on 88.3 Dean College Radio.
Before the fireworks, almost 6,000 people took part in the Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 5K/10K. Both races took runners though Gillette Stadium before crossing the finish line located at midfield inside the stadium.
