The first newborn of 2014 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital was an 8 pound baby boy.
Jake Michael Votolato was born Jan. 1 at 4:47 a.m., hospital spokesperson Kathi Hague told Patch Wednesday. He was the first baby born in the Attleboro hospital this year.
Jake is the child of Lina Keo and Dante' Votolato of Foxboro, Hague said.
