Jaycee Fundraiser

As part of their ongoing commitment to beautify the Foxboro Town Common for the Holidays each year, the Foxboro Jaycees have purchased several colorful banners to place on the light poles. The Chapter hopes to purchase enough banners to completely surround the Common, but the banners are costly. This year (2011) they were able to purchase enough to do one end.

To help with the effort, the Chapter has planned several fundraisers. If you’d like to make a donation or participate in the community-wide Tupperware fundraiser, stop by the South Foxboro Community Center on March 14 between 6:30-7:30. Tupperware consultant Katie Hart will be showcasing some of the most popular fundraising products at the meeting. Orders can also be placed online at www.tinyurl.com/foxborojayceesfund.

Afterward, the public is invited to stay for the Monthly General Membership Meeting. This is an opportunity to learn more about the Jaycees and all the projects they have planned in the community for the upcoming months. The Foxboro Jaycees are a Leadership Training organization for young professionals aged 18-41. Active in the Foxboro community since 1961, they are a dynamic, enthusiastic volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life through community development projects while growing the skills of members and providing an opportunity to make lifelong friendships. The Jaycees provide civic service through the organized efforts of the people of the community and promote the welfare of Foxboro and its citizens through active, constructive projects.
