Mansfield Great Clips salon to host "Get one, Give one" Veterans Day Promotion

Giving customers the opportunity to thank veterans, one haircut at a time

Each year, Veteran’s Day gives us an opportunity to thank the men and women who have served and are currently serving our country in the military. And while many businesses across the country offer discounts and freebies to veterans each November 11, Great Clips has announced a promotion that both allows customers to show their appreciation for the veterans in their lives, as well as accommodates the busy schedules of retired and active members of the military.

Although not all of us have served in the military ourselves, most of us know at least one veteran we would like to thank on that day. You may be dismayed to find not a single veteran thank you card on the shelves of your local store, but this year Great Clips has you covered! On November 11, stop into any of Great Clips’ over 3,300 salons across the United States to get your hair cut and receive a free haircut card to give to a veteran.
What makes this card different from all the rest is that veterans can choose to redeem it for one free haircut at their convenience anytime between November 11 and December 31, 2013 – because veterans are busy people, too!
Veterans themselves can also stop into their local Great Clips on November 11 to receive a free haircut or one free haircut card. All cards expire December 31, 2013.

While Great Clips, like many of us, realizes that there is no amount of thanks great enough to give to the men and women who have risked their lives to protect our country, they hope that providing them with a great haircut will show their appreciation for all that our veterans and active service men and women have done for us.

How it works:
Customers come into any U.S. Great Clips salon on Nov. 11 and, with the purchase of a service, receive a free haircut card to give to a veteran.
• Limit one card per customer (while supplies last).
• The free haircut cards are redeemable by veterans at any U.S. Great Clips from Nov. 11–Dec. 31, 2013 with proof of service. The promotion applies to veterans only.
• Veterans who visit Great Clips in the U.S. on Nov. 11 receive either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card to redeem by Dec. 31. After Nov. 11, veterans must have a free haircut card to get the free haircut.
If you’re looking to get a great haircut at a price that won’t break the bank, stop in to your nearest Great Clips or check in online with the revolutionary Online Check-In app. Although prices may vary from salon to salon, an average adult haircut is only $13 and a child’s cut is $10 at one of Great Clips’ over 3,300 salons.
