H.U.G.S. (Help us Get Safe) of Foxboro is sponsoring it's 7th Annual Fundraiser Walk and Awareness Campaign during October's National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).
Since 1987, our nation has recognized October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in an effort to increase public awareness about domestic and sexual violence and to encourage communities to support survivors, their families, and the individuals and agencies that provide domestic and sexual violence services throughout the year.
For the past 12 years, H.U.G.S. of Foxboro and the Foxboro community have come together during DVAM to take a stand against an issue that affects thousands of individuals each year regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
Now is the time to stop the violence!
H.U.G.S. invites you to join in our 7th Annual Fundraiser Walk and Awareness Campaign. View the Clothesline and Silent Witness Projects as you walk around the Ahern track. All donations and contributions are tax deductible and checks payable to H.U.G.S. Foxboro may be mailed to PO Box 466, Foxboro, MA. 02035.
Registration begins at 9:30 to sign up for our prize drawings at 11:00. Light refreshments will be served. Join us to receive a free T-shirt!
Please call 508-698-8784 for more information.
Hope to see you there!
Thank you.
