Foxborough Veterans Day Ceremony

FOXBOROUGH VETERANS DAY CEREMONY at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov 11th. All community members are encouraged to attend a Veterans Day service at Foxboro High School. The master of ceremonies is town historian Jack Authelet. Participants include:
Rev. Steve Madden of St. Mary’s Church, Rev. Justine Campbell of River Community Church, Commander Mike Geary of the Lawrence W. Foster Post 93 American Legion and Commander Warren Wright of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 2626.
Foxborough Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts, the Foxborough Veterans Services Advisory Committee. The Serenading Seniors will be singing patriotic songs and the hymn of every military branch you and your loved ones served in. Keynote speaker will be Michael Davison, Lt. Col. (ret), USAF.
FHS Students Emily Dykstra and Paul Stamatos will be speaking about veterans and the meaning of Veterans Day. Foxborough Board of Selectmen, will bring greetings from Foxborough Town Hall and State Representative F. Jay Barrows will bring greetings from the Massachusetts State House. Audio/Visual expertise will be provided by FHS students Kyle Stringfellow and Brendan Johnson.
Immediately following the 11 a.m. ceremony,on Monday, Nov. 11, at the FHS Auditorium, the staff of Doolittle Home will serve freshly prepared snacks and soft drinks in the school cafeteria.
