Warren Tolman, a Massachusetts Attorney General candidate, on Tuesday announced his plan to combat opiate abuse, which he called a "public health crisis."

Tolman said he would create a special task force in the AG's office, among other measures.

Tolman was in the South Coast Tuesday to promote his plan. He was scheduled to meet with Taunton Mayor Thomas Hoye, whose city has already seen more than 100 overdoses from heroin this year.

"It is imperative that we take action," Tolman said in a statement. "I’m honored to have the support and confidence of many of the South Coast’s top leaders as we continue to battle these dangerous drugs. As Attorney General, I will use the full authority and weight of the office to protect Massachusetts families from opiate abuse."

Here we see an amazing amount of ignorance about drugs. All of the problems K says are caused because of Darwin are actually caused by him and the other hysterical mobs. If there were no crazies like him and Tolman there would be no criminals in drugs. These people are as much a part of the problem as are religious who befoul intelligent discourse.

Frank, what health effects? Nobody takes it seriously if you have no proof or legitimate studies. You can copy and paste all day.

Drug education is like any other act of careful living. Drugs are rational things. Humans use them irrationally in many cases. So, yes , educate your children just as you do about how to not play in the street. But the type of thing that gets elections won is called hysteria and this guy is a witch hunter. We all know, most of us, that witches are not real and to spend millions looking for them is a waste. Drugs can be dangerous. Users are not criminals nor witches. Do not make using them a major crime or the main thing that government does. That is just an easy way to avoid real problems that effect us all on a daily basis, like BANKSTERS. The jails are full of drug users for no good end. There are no Banksters, who have stolen billions from all of us, in jail.
