Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest

Where/When: Saturday, May 21, Patriot Place, 12:00pm. 

Why Go: Patriot Place and Showcase Cinema de Lux will host the Boston area qualifying event for the world famous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. Arrive early to meet the New England Patriots Cheerleaders and Pat Patriot from 12:00pm to 2:00pm! There will be approximately 20 contestants in the 10-minute "all you can eat" competition and they are expected to consume close to 300 hot dogs and buns. Mike Antolini from Major League Eating will emcee the event with the winner advancing to the 95th annual July Fourth International Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island.

In addition to the hot dog eating contest, the Pepsi Dew Crew will be on Patriot Place Plaza and in front of Showcase Cinema de Lux starting at 12:00pm with games and activities for the entire family, including a bounce house, face painting and more PLUS live music by This Blue Heaven on the Plaza for all!

Where/When: Friday night, May 20 at 7:00 p.m, Foxborough High School

Why Go: Enjoy a night of music as the Foxborough Music Association presents their annual Jazz Festival.  This event will feature music from the Foxborough HS Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Choir and the  Ahern Junior Jazz Band.  This event will take place in the FHS Auditorium.

Where/When: Saturday, May 21, 10:00am -2:00pm, Foxborough Common

Who Go: The Foxboro Jaycees will be holding a Spring Fair on the Foxboro Common on Saturday May 21, 2011. The event will be free to the public and open from 10:00am to 2:00pm. They are inviting crafters, artists and vendors from the area to set up exhibits on the Common.

Where/When: Saturday, May 21, CBS Scene, Patriot Place

Why Go: Join Karlson and McKenzie from WZLX at CBS Scene tonight from 4 pm - 6 pm for giveaways and to win a chance to play football with Tom Brady! Five contestants will be selected to participate in a football toss competition - One lucky winner will take part in the 2nd Annual Tom Brady Football Challenge to support Best Buddies on June 3rd at Harvard Stadium! Please note, you must be 18 or older to participate.

Where/When: Sunday, May 22, 12:00pm.

Why Go: Come see four college teams play at Gillette Stadium in the NCAA Lacrosse Quarterfinals! Game times are scheduled for Noon and 2:30 p.m.

Where/When: Sunday, May 22, 2:00 pm- 5:00pm, Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro

Why Go: Partnering with the Hunakai Studio School of Fine Art in Foxboro for an "Afternoon of Art, Wine & Music." This jam-packed event will include a delicious wine tasting, passed and stationed hors d;oeuvres, the phenomenal classic guitar stylings of Steve Marchena, and local artists working live on their latest creations. The artists' work will be available for sale and there will be a special silent auction of a commission for an oil-on-canvas family portrait by renowned artist and gallery owner Carla Carey. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Hunakai's art education efforts.
