Overheard on Facebook
Here is a sampling of comments and happenings on our Facebook page and the social media world from the past week: 

  • were the hot topic on our Facebook page this week! Facebook reader, Jen DeAngelis commented, "Very dumb. Let Kids be Kids! Its not cupcakes and snacks at birthday celebrations that are making them obese - its video games, TV and not spending enough time outside playing!" Ana Epifanio Groves commented that it is already happening in Foxborough, "Already done. They do not allow any food to celebrate b-days anymore in my son's elementary school here in Foxboro. The kids can bring in things like pencils, etc to share w/ the class."
  • Our Memorial Day coverage got many "likes." Foxborough hosted a wonderful ceremony on the
  • Facebook reader Neda Joury-Penders reminded readers that, "The Igo Elementary School Float on Founders Day will also be collecting protein bars during the parade for our troops overseas!" 
  • The Hockomock Area YMCA wrote on our wall that they are having a tech dump day at the Foxboro Y on June 25th! 
  • On Twitter, we had a great time talking to our friends, including @russ_goldman, @craigsmartin, @noontimesports, @dlibon, and @joebreenRBI.
