Snow Expected Wednesday

The National Weather Service says the morning commute should be affected.

Winter's timeout ends Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service in Taunton Tuesday said 2 to 5 inches of snow are expected in Central Mass. The agency has issued a winter weather advisory from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday for Central Mass., Western Mass. and "Northeast Massachusetts away from the immediate coast."

The January thaw is over. Temperatures in the 40s and 50s, approaching 60 some days, were recorded for much of the past week.

The snow should slow the Wednesday morning commute, the weather service said.

In Foxborough, Wednesday's forecast calls for morning rain and snow, before becoming all rain after 2 p.m. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible in town.
