Schedule for Relay for Life Released

Relay for Life of Greater Foxborough has released the lap schedule and events planned for the annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

On June 21-22, Relay for Life returns to Foxborough for their 10th anniversary. With the event only days away, the lap and event schedule has been released.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 21, participants in the event will walk around the Ahern Middle School track in honor of those who have battled cancer. The annual fundraiser will go all night, ending at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22.

On Friday, survivor registration will start at 5 p.m. and go until 5:45 p.m. Event registration will also open at 5 p.m. and will close at 10 p.m. Registration will reopen from 7-9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

June 21:

  • 6 p.m. - Opening ceremony featuring guest speaker Caroline Miller. The national anthem will be sung by Lisa Conant.
  • 6:30 p.m. - Survivors' Lap
  • 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Massages by Powers of Touch
  • 8:30 p.m. - Krisanthi Pappas Performs
  • 9 p.m. - Luminaria ceremony with another performance by Lisa Conant performance and a bagpipe serenade from Bruce Roberts.
  • 9:30 p.m. to midnight - Movies
  • 10 p.m. - Sports Lap
  • 11 p.m. - Wild Wild West Lap.

June 22:

  • 6 a.m. - Crazy hat/mismatched clothes lap
  • 7 a.m. - Jimmy Buffet/Hawaiian lap
  • 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. - Event registration
  • 8:15 a.m. - Zumba
  • 8-10 a.m. - Massages
  • 9 a.m. - Childrens' lap
  • 9:30 a.m. - Fight Back ceremony
  • 10:30 a.m. -  Closing and awards.
