New Hope Receives Grant to Support Victims of Domestic Violence

Located in Attleboro, New Hope works with victims of domestic violence by offering support through its a . The shelter provides temporary housing to individuals and families fleeing from domestic violence. The $7,500 grant was awarded to New Hope during an event held today at the Mass Audubon’s Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick, where a total of $162,000 was awarded to organizations throughout the region. 

“The MetroWest is defined by the strength of organizations, such as New Hope, Inc., working tirelessly to improve the quality of life in communities throughout the region,”  said Judith Salerno, executive director of Foundation for MetroWest, in a release.  “Each year we are incredibly moved by the aspiration of these organizations to serve their communities and we are proud to be able to support them in a small, but meaningful way.”

While New Hope is based in Attleboro, the organization actually serves residents in several area communities including Attleboro, Mansfield, Seekonk, Foxboro,  Norwood, Sharon, Walpole and Wrentham.
